En tant que produit, il est destiné aux clients ayant besoin d'un modèle du terrain, où que ce soit en Belgique et avec une résolution à un niveau d'échelle équivalent de 1:10.000. Le MNT étant une interpolation de la surface du sol, sa précision est hétérogène ; elle pourra diminuer par endroit, notamment là où les données altimétriques brutes sont peu denses ou absentes. Het DHM wordt in eerste instantie intern als referentieoppervlakte gebruikt voor toepassingen op schaal 1:10 000. Het dient ook als basis voor de interne productie van orthofoto’s. Als product is het voor klanten bestemd die een terreinmodel nodig hebben, waar dan ook in België en met een resolutie op een schaalniveau gelijk aan 1:10 000. Als interpolatie van het grondoppervlakte heeft het DHM een heterogene nauwkeurigheid. Afhankelijk van de locatie zal die dan ook dalen, in het bijzonder waar bruto altimetrische gegevens weinig dicht of niet beschikbaar zijn. In erster Linie wird das DHM intern als Basisoberfläche für Anwendungen im Maβstab 1:10 000 benutzt. Es dient auch als Basis für die interne Produktion von Orthophotos. The source data used to produce this DTM are the DTM at a 1m-resolution from the regions: data from Digitaal Vlaanderen (former AIV and former AGIV) for the Flemish Region, data from the SPW for the Walloon Region and data from Paradigm for the Region of Brussels-Capital. These regional DSM are derived from the clouds of points obtained during the LiDAR campaign (flight of 9 October 2021 for Brussels, from 19 February 2021 to 5 March 2022 for Wallonia and from 20 February 2013 to 20 April 2015 for Flanders). These source data are gathered and processed in order to obtain a homogeneous and regular grid with every meter a point in X and Y indicating the height of the ground level. This grid makes the product DTM 1m, i.e. the DTM at a 1 meter-resolution. This product comes directly from the regional data and is not updated. The DTM 1m is resampled by bilinear interpolation in order to obtain the same type of grid at a 5m-resolution. This is also improved and updated in-house using direct photogrammetric surveys of points and structure lines based on the most recent aerial photographs in order to create the product DTM 5m. The DTM 5m consists of a compilation of the best available data, and these are constantly updated and improved. Le produit ‘DTM’, donne la hauteur du niveau du sol par rapport au niveau zéro belge (zéro D fictif d'Uccle). Il s'agit donc de la hauteur orthométrique, communément appelée: altitude. Les données sources utilisées pour la production de ce DTM sont les DTM à 1m de résolution des régions : ceux de Digitaal Vlaanderen (ex-AIV, ex-AGIV), pour la Région flamande ; ceux du SPW, pour la Région wallonne et ceux de Paradigm, pour la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale. Ces DTM régionaux sont issu des nuages de points de campagne LiDAR (vol du 09 octobre 2021 pour Bruxelles ; du 19 février 2021 au 05 mars 2022 pour la Wallonie et du 20 février 2013 au 20 avril 2015 pour la Flandre). Les organismes régionaux flamand et bruxellois fournissant leur produit en Lambert 72, l’IGN a reprojeté ceux-ci en Lambert 2008 et effectué une interpolation afin d’obtenir un produit avec des coordonnées rondes et les a ensuite assemblé avec celui de la Région wallonne (déjà en Lambert 2008) afin que le produit DTM ainsi créé, recouvre la totalité du territoire belge. Ces données sources sont rassemblées et traitées afin d'obtenir une grille homogène et régulière avec tous les 1m, en X et en Y, un point qui indique la hauteur du niveau du sol. Cette grille forme le produit DTM 1m, soit le DTM à 1 mètre de résolution. Ce produit est directement issu des données régionales et n’est pas mis à jour Le DTM 1m est rééchantillonné (resampling) par interpolation bilinéaire pour obtenir le même type de grille à 5m de résolution. Celle-ci est également améliorée et mise à jour en interne via des relevés photogrammétriques directs de points et de lignes de structures sur base des prises de vues aériennes les plus récentes afin de réaliser le produit DTM 5m. Le DTM 5m est issu d'une compilation des meilleures données disponibles, et celles-ci sont continuellement mises à jour et améliorées. Le produit DTM 20m est obtenu par rééchantillonnage (resampling) par interpolation bilinéaire du DTM 1m afin d'obtenir une grille avec une résolution de 20m. Cette moindre résolution en fait un produit plus léger et permet de le diffuser plus largement pour toutes sortes d’applications à l’échelle nationale ou régionale. Lors de l'élaboration du DTM, la plus haute priorité est donnée à l'obtention d'une couverture complète. La seconde priorité étant que le DTM reproduise le véritable niveau du sol et aucune autre surface (canopée, toitures,...). Ces deux priorités rencontrent une exigence importante, aussi bien pour les applications internes de l'IGN que pour la plupart des clients externes. De plus, la disponibilité du DTM sous la forme d'un produit standard (grille de points homogène et régulière) dans un format générique (file gdb raster) utilisable par toutes les différentes suites logicielles représente une commodité particulière pour les applications, aussi bien internes qu'externes. Het product ‘DTM’, geeft de hoogte van het grondoppervlak ten opzichte van het Belgische nulniveau (fictief nulniveau van Ukkel)). Het gaat dus om de orthometrische hoogte, doorgaans gewoon hoogte genoemd. De brongegevens die werden gebruikt voor de productie van dit DTM zijn de DTM’s met een resolutie van 1m van de gewesten : die van Digitaal Vlaanderen (ex-AIV, ex-AGIV) voor het Vlaams Gewest, die van de SPW voor het Waals Gewest, en die van Paradigm voor het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Deze regionale DTM’s zijn aangemaakt op basis van puntenwolken van een LiDAR-campagne (vlucht van 9 oktober 2021 voor Brussel, 19 februari 2021 tot 5 maart 2022 voor Wallonië en van 20 februari 2013 tot 20 april 2015 voor Vlaanderen). Aangezien de Vlaamse en Brusselse gewestelijke organisaties hun product in Lambert 72 aanleveren, heeft het NGI de gegevens geherprojecteerd in Lambert 2008 en een interpolatie uitgevoerd om te komen tot ronde coördinaten. Daarna heeft het ze samengevoegd met het product van het Waals Gewest (al in Lambert 2008) zodat het product DTM dat zo werd aangemaakt het volledige Belgsiche grondgebied overdekt. Deze brongegevens worden samengebracht en verwerkt om een homogeen en regelmatig rooster te bekomen met om de 1m, in X en in Y, een punt dat de hoogte van het grondniveau aangeeft. Dit rooster vormt het product DTM 1m, het DTM met een resolutie van 1 meter. Dit product wordt rechtstreeks afgeleid van de gewestelijke gegevens en wordt niet geüpdatet. Het DTM 1m wordt geresampled via bilineaire interpolatie om hetzelfde type rooster met een resolutie van 5 m te bekomen. Dit wordt ook intern verbeterd en geüpdatet via rechtstreeks fotogrammetrische opmetingen van punten en structuurlijnen op basis van de meest recente luchtopnamen om het product DTM 5m te bekomen. Het DTM 5m is afkomstig van een compilatie van de beste beschikbare gegevens en die worden constant geüpdatet en verbeterd. Het product DTM 20m wordt bekomen door resampling door bilineaire interpolatie van het DTM 1m om een rooster met een resolutie van 20m te bekomen. Door deze lagere resolutie is het een lichter product en kan het ruimer worden verspreid voor allerlei toepassingen op nationale of regionale schaal. Bij het opstellen van het DTM wordt de hoogste prioriteit gegeven aan het bekomen van een volledige overdekking. De tweede prioriteit is dat het DTM het echte niveau van de bodem weergeeft en geen enkel ander oppervlak (boomkruinlaag, daken…). Deze prioriteit beantwoordt aan een belangrijke vereiste, zowel voor de interne toepassingen van het NGI als voor de meeste externe klanten. Bovendien vormt de beschikbaarheid van het DTM als standaardproduct (puntenrooster om de 1m in X en Y), in een generiek formaat (gdb rasterbestand) dat kan gebruikt worden door alle softwarepakketten, een bijzondere troef voor de toepassingen, zowel de interne als de externe. Das Produkt „DTM“, gibt die Höhe des Bodenniveaus in Bezug auf das belgische Nullniveau (fiktiver Nullpunkt D in Ukkel) an. Es handelt sich also um die orthometrische Höhe, auch als geografische Höhe bezeichnet. Die Quelldaten, die für die Erstellung dieses DTM verwendet wurden, sind die DTM mit einer Auflösung von 1 m der Regionen: die von Digitaal Vlaanderen (ehemals AIV und AGIV) für die Flämische Region, die des ÖDW für die Wallonische Region und die von Paradigm für die Region Brüssel-Hauptstadt. Diese regionalen DTM wurden aus den Punktwolken der LiDAR-Kampagnen (Flug vom 09. Oktober 2021 für Brüssel; vom 19. Februar 2021 bis 05. März 2022 für Wallonien und 20. Februar 2013 bis 20. April 2015 für Flandern) abgeleitet. Da die regionalen Organisationen von Flandern und Brüssel ihre Produkte in Lambert 72 lieferten, projizierte das NGI diese in Lambert 2008 und führte eine Interpolation durch, um ein Produkt mit runden Koordinaten zu erhalten, und fügte sie dann mit dem der Wallonischen Region (schon in Lambert 2008) zusammen, sodass das auf diese Weise entstandene DTM 1m-Produkt das gesamte belgische Staatsgebiet abdeckt. Diese Quelldaten werden gesammelt und verarbeitet, um ein homogenes und regelmäßiges Raster mit einem Punkt alle 1 m in X- und Y-Richtung zu erhalten, der die Höhe des Bodenniveaus anzeigt. Dieses Raster bildet das DTM 1m-Produkt, also das DTM mit 1 Meter Auflösung. Dieses Produkt stammt direkt aus den regionalen Daten und wird nicht aktualisiert. Das DTM 1m wird durch bilineare Interpolation neu erfasst (Resampling), um denselben Rastertyp bei einer Auflösung von 5 m zu erhalten. Dieser wird auch intern verbessert und aktualisiert, indem direkte photogrammetrische Aufnahmen von Punkten und Linien von Strukturen auf der Grundlage der neuesten Luftaufnahmen gemacht werden, um das DTM 5m-Produkt zu erstellen. Das DTM 5m entstand aus einer Zusammenstellung der besten verfügbaren Daten, die ständig aktualisiert und verbessert werden. Das DTM 20m-Produkt wird durch erneute Erfassung (Resampling) mittels bilinearer Interpolation des DTM 1m gewonnen, um ein Raster mit einer Auflösung von 20m zu erhalten. Diese geringere Auflösung macht das Produkt leichter und ermöglicht eine größere Verbreitung für alle Arten von Anwendungen auf nationaler oder regionaler Ebene. Bei der Erstellung des DTM wird der Erreichung einer vollständigen Abdeckung höchste Priorität eingeräumt. Die zweite Priorität ist, dass das DTM das tatsächliche Bodenniveau und keine anderen Oberflächen (Baumkronen, Dächer usw.) reproduziert. Diese beiden Prioritäten sind eine Reaktion auf eine wichtige Anforderung, sowohl für die internen Anwendungen des NGI als auch für die meisten externen Kunden. Darüber hinaus stellt die Verfügbarkeit des DTM als Standardprodukt (homogenes und regelmäßiges Punktraster) in einem generischen Format (gdb raster file), das von allen verschiedenen Software-Suiten genutzt werden kann, eine besondere Bequemlichkeit für Anwendungen dar, sowohl für interne als auch für externe. Die verschiedenen benutzten Quellen sind: Bildzuordnung, direkte photogrammetrische Aufnahme von Punikten und Strukturlinien auf Basis von Luftbildern, von Airborne Laserscanning (Punkten), von Feldaufnahmen (Punkten), eventuell ergänzt mit lineairen Strukturen, digitalisiert, aktualisiert und eventuell ergänzt mit Strukturlinien.
